Alvin helped define the punkabilly/L.A. country punk sound with the Blasters, the Knitters and X, and then went on to hone his songwriting and musician skills with a long list of solo and collaborative work with the Guilty Men and others. The Guilty Women don’t just supplement his sound, they complement it. What started as a one-off performance at 2008’s HSB Festival has now become a full fledged act. “It just felt so natural,” says Alvin. “It was like I had been playing with them for a hundred years.”
