This Public Celebration is NOT in Hellman's Hollow (see map).

Q: Who is performing and what is the schedule?

Performances will be in the following order and will alternate between two stages (Banjo and Arrow), starting on Arrow Stage:

Q: How do I watch on my computer or phone or iPad?

Q: Do I need a ticket?

No, the event is free.

Q: Where is the event?

On the Great Highway (@ Ocean Beach) between JFK Dr. & Lincoln Ave.

Q: How early can we arrive?

8am.

Q: Is there parking?

Street Parking only. Concert-goers are HIGHLY encouraged to use public transportation. If you must drive, please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways and crosswalks! Violators will be ticketed or towed. For information on public transit and up-to-date traffic conditions, visit www.511.org.

Some of the schools in the area will be offering paid parking:

Presidio Middle School - 29th Ave between Geary and Clement - suggested donation $25
Francis Scott Key Elementary - 42nd Ave between Kirkham and Lawton - suggested donation $25 Lafayette Elementary - 4545 Anza Street @ 36th Ave - suggested donation $25

PLEASE NOTE - The Bay Bridge will be CLOSED going Westbound from 8pm Fri. Feb. 17 through 5am Tues. Feb. 21. Please visit www.baybridgeinfo.org for info on BART and more.

Q: Bike Parking?

We will offer valet bike parking as well as self bike parking, both on the Great Highway along the side of the event. Please see map for those locations.

Q: Are pets allowed?

No pets except service animals.

Q: Is alcohol allowed at the event?

Alcohol use is banned by federal law at Ocean Beach. Please do NOT bring alcohol to the event.

Q: Are chairs allowed?

To assure good visibility for all patrons, tall chairs or umbrellas are not permitted. Please bring only lawn chairs with backs at shoulder height.

Q: What services are provided for disabled persons?

ADA Parking is available (see map) on a first come first serve basis - ADA Parking will be located on the Westbound side of the JFK closure at Bernice Rodgers/South Fork Rd (one side of the street only). We will let anyone with an ADA placard/license plate through there until the parking fills up. There will be an ADA section at each stage. Space is limited - disabled patron and one companion. First come first serve.

Q: Food and Beverages?

There will be concessions available onsite. Alcohol will not be sold. Patrons are welcome to bring their own food. Trash and recycling containers will be located throughout. Be a good neighbor and dispose of your trash!

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A City-wide ordinance (Health Code Section 1009.81) went into effect in 2005, prohibiting smoking of any kind in all public parks. Smoking is not allowed in any area.

Q: Will merchandise be available?

Yes, we will offer a commemorative shirt and poster, available at the merchandise tent.

Q: Restrooms, first aid, water?

Yes, there will be port-a-potties and first aid (see map). Water is available for sale in the concessions area. Please bring your own water to help conserve and cut down on litter!

Q: Lost and Found?

Lost and Found will be located at the merchandise tent.

Q: Is photography allowed?

Yes. No tripods. PLEASE, NO PROFESSIONAL AUDIO OR VIDEO RECORDING SET UPS ALLOWED.

Q: Will the event be available for streaming online if I can't be there in person?

YES! The event will be streaming LIVE at www.strictlybluegrass.com. We encourage at-home watching parties!

Q: Weather?

Rain or shine! Please dress appropriately. The audience area of the event will NOT be covered by a tent.

Q: What streets are closed in the park?

JFK is closed from Bernice Rodgers (AKA S Fork Drive) to the Great Hwy. Great Highway is closed between Fulton Street and Lincoln Way.

The Great Highway closure starts at on 12:00AM 2/19/12 and ends at 9:00PM on 2/19/12. The JFK closure starts at 12:00AM 2/19/12 and ends at 7:00 PM 2/19/12.

47th Avenue will remain open for Golf and Archery access, but cars will not be allowed onto JFK from 47th.

The detour route for the Great Highway will be Park Presidio Blvd. / 19th Ave.

Please note - Unauthorized sales, solicitation, and distribution of all printed materials, products, or goods are prohibited.

Please be advised that when the event site reaches capacity there will be queue lines on JFK Dr. and Lincoln Blvd. We encourage online streaming / watching parties at home!
