Somewhat of a Renaissance man, Jon Langford is perhaps best known as one of the founding members of the influential punk band The Mekons. The bandname, Langford and “His” Sadies, is, of course, a friendly joke: The Sadies are their own outfit, with several records to their name that hover around country/western but touch on everything from psych-rock to surf.
