singer/guitarist Jason Isbell left the band to pursue a solo career. He has honed his songwriting skills and funneled his talents in recent years, creating a bluesy, punk-infused lesson in guitar tones and Southern swagger as well as melancholic country ballads and a familiar Muscle Shoals sound.
